Episode Overview
Title: Birthright Plot: Driven by the delusion that he was swapped at birth, a murderer targets those he believes have hijacked his identity. When two men, who share a birth date and location with the killer, are found dead, the VCTF steps in to investigate. Their inquiries lead them to a mentally unstable woman who insists her own child was switched for a severely disfigured one at the hospital. Despite her claims, she was unable to prove her case and became a harsh, neglectful parent. Sam deduces that the killer's rage stems from this traumatic upbringing. As the team uncovers the truth behind the mother's claims, they realize the murderer may seek vengeance against the lone healthcare worker involved in his past. Meanwhile, Jack confronts his mother’s butler, killing him after discovering he’s been spying on him for her. Sam becomes increasingly worried about the unfolding events.
