The team delves into the case of a serial rapist who has escalated to murder in Illinois. Sam is baffled by the irregular timing of the assaults and the link between the victims, all found in the woods. He discovers that the perpetrator is a resentful married man targeting women on the verge of marriage to vent his anger. Meanwhile, with Jack-of-All-Trades (Donald Lucas) finally behind bars, Sam starts the search for a new home for herself and Chloe.
