Episode Overview

Title: To Serve & Protect Plot: As a string of seemingly random murders rocks St. Louis, Rachel and the VCTF team suspect that the killer may be a military veteran using readily available weapons. Their attention turns to a disheveled, rambling homeless man (guest star Jeremy Roberts) who matches their suspect profile. However, Rachel starts to reconsider, suggesting they expand their search to include any former service members who might be experiencing severe mental health issues. Meanwhile, at their base, tech expert George struggles with his growing dependence on prescription painkillers while he heals from a recent car accident.
