Episode Overview

On October 11, 1864, Detectives Maguire and O’Brien stumble upon a plot by a gang to rob some of New York City's richest families. Upon learning of the threat, Corcoran is tasked with safeguarding guests at an elegant fundraiser while keeping Norbert Morehouse and Elizabeth Haverford from feeling uneasy. As police finalize their plans for the gala, Maguire drops a bombshell decision that leaves O’Brien and Corcoran taken aback. Meanwhile, Marcus Freeman gets Jasper Longfield ready for his match against "Irish" Jake McGinnis. In the midst of training, Doctor Matthew Freeman begins to suspect that Marcus may have ulterior motives.
