Episode Overview

Scarab challenges the Mummies to compete in the ancient Challenge of the Maze, where the victor earns the title of the Pharaoh's protector. Having triumphed in many similar challenges before, the Mummies are confident. Though magic is forbidden, Scarab resorts to the "magic of technology" to gain an edge. He first takes down Rath using a powerful magnet. Next, he tricks Armon into stepping onto the tracks of an oncoming subway train. Scarab temporarily blinds Nefer-Tina to secure another victory. However, when he attempts to deceive Ja-Kal with projectors, Presley warns him, allowing Ja-Kal to ultimately defeat Scarab.
