Mongrels (2010)
Overview
Mongrels, a British puppet comedy that aired on BBC Three from June to August 2010, offers a humorous glimpse into the lives of five quirky animals living behind a pub in Millwall, London. The main characters include Nelson, a stylish fox; Destiny, a glamorous Afghan hound; Marion, a rather dim-witted cat; Kali, a vengeful pigeon; and Vince, a foul-mouthed, sociopathic fox with a dark sense of humor. A making-of documentary, "Mongrels Uncovered," aired shortly after the initial series, followed by a second season that premiered in November 2011.
