Emma's marriage falls apart, leading her to a dark moment where she considers ending her life. Meanwhile, chaos ensues at the Fresh! PR event as Marco finds himself in a compromising situation with the fiancée of a visiting royal heir. K.C. is swept off her feet by this foreign gentleman, but things take a turn when a group of men pays her to dig up dirt on him, leading to disastrous consequences when she overdoses on pills and falls asleep. In another twist, a drug-fueled Emma crashes a conference, exposing Janis' affair with a colleague, resulting in both of their dismissals. As Janis prepares to leave for good, Marco confesses his feelings, but she walks away anyway. Will, on the other hand, tries to connect with a male coworker in the restroom but struggles to enjoy the moment as he grapples with his own feelings.
