Amanda, Shirley's mother, and Walter, her father, clash over Amanda's desire to work outside the home. Frustrated, Amanda moves in with Shirley. Soon after, Amanda secures a position with a service company, while Shirley decides to employ a maid. To everyone's surprise, Amanda ends up being the maid!
