As Zack and Kelly's relationship starts to blossom, Kelly receives an exciting acceptance into the Semester on the Sea program, a three-month cruise adventure. Although Zack wishes she would stay, Kelly sees it as an unmissable chance. Desperate to join her, Zack concocts various plans to get accepted, but none succeed. In a misguided attempt to frighten Screech into dropping out, his scheme backfires, leading Zack to make a significant choice on a whim. Meanwhile, Slater grapples with guilt after being unfaithful to Alex and faces a confrontation from Leslie.
