Episode Overview
Title: The Quest for Gold and Jade Plot: Ambitious Kao Chiu, dissatisfied with merely holding the title of Viceroy and commanding the army, conspires with his brother-in-law to also seize the position of Prime Minister. Yang Chih, known as 'Blue Face,' is offered a chance to redeem himself after his previous failure by safeguarding the tax revenue intended for Kao Chiu. Meanwhile, the brave rebels of Liang Shan Po discover that a massive haul of jade and gold is being transported, and the esteemed nobleman Chao Kai learns of it as well. Accompanying Chao Kai are Hu San-Niang and Lu Ta, the former chief guard of Tsang Chou prison. Lin Chung finds himself on a direct path towards conflict with both Chao Kai and Yang Chih.
