The Water Margin (1973)

Episode Overview

Kao Chiu receives the severed head of Wang Lun and, enraged and wary of the honorable judge Sung Chiang, assigns him the task of investigating Yen Po-Hsi, Wang Lun's former lover. Under Kao Chiu's orders, Yen Po-Hsi seduces Sung Chiang, managing to extract crucial information about Liang Shan Po. Left with no choice, the judge finds himself compelled to kill her and then goes on the run, seeking sanctuary with Lord Chai Chin and his formidable ally, Li Kwei, known as the Black Whirlwind. Ultimately, only Lin Chung can intervene during the battle at the Shallow River of the Dead to save the judge.
