Episode Overview

The prophecy has come to fruition as the ninety-six heroes of Liang Shan Po converge ominously south of the capital. Kao Chiu, resembling a trapped beast, schemes to assassinate the Emperor, who is now a captive in his own palace. His family's dynasty aims to overthrow the Sungs, who have ruled for a century and a half. Lin Chung races toward the capital, determined to rescue the Emperor from the impending conflict. Meanwhile, thousands of peasants rally behind the rebel knights of Liang Shan Po as they advance on the city. Lin Chung faces the dual challenge of saving the Emperor and confronting Kao Chiu one final time.
