Laia prepares to confront new interrogations determined to dismantle their defenses, but Álex's uncle warns the riot police, prompting them to coordinate a united front. Just as the Internal Affairs team is ready to abandon the interrogations, Laia spots the most vulnerable officer and prompts a confession. Later that night, her direct supervisor takes her out in the early hours to reveal a safe house where a covert police commission is probing the corruption involving high-ranking officers—a case she has nearly jeopardized by ignoring orders and pursuing leads independently.
