Matlock (1986)

Episode Overview

After a struggling Santa Claus named Tom McCabe finds himself accused of murdering the landlord who was set to evict him and the other tenants from their building, the residents rally together to raise funds and approach Matlock for help. Although they don't hold Tom in high regard, they are certain he isn't capable of murder. Despite his personal reservations about Tom, Matlock puts aside his feelings and decides to take on the case to defend him.
