Matlock (1986)

Episode Overview

After Brian Emerson is taken into custody for the alleged murder of his wife, Matlock steps in to defend him, forgoing his standard fee. However, his attempts to secure bail for Brian are thwarted by a judge who seems to have completely lost the holiday cheer. As a result, Matlock decides to take the young girl into his care while he navigates the case.
