Matlock (1986)

Episode Overview

Matlock takes on the case of Drew Carey, a young man he’s known since childhood, who stands accused of killing his uncle in a drunken rage. Unfortunately, Drew has matured into a self-indulgent and arrogant individual who dismisses Matlock's advice. He is adamant that the true murderer is his uncle's much younger wife, Valerie, who was involved with a construction worker. Despite warnings from others about Drew’s character, Matlock remains steadfast in his belief that there’s still a good person within him and that Drew is innocent of the crime.
