Matlock (1986)

Episode Overview

Marvin Sheam and Sid Franklin have run their business for over three decades. When their loan application is rejected and they find themselves unable to cover their expenses, Marv suggests that Sid consider hiring an arsonist to set their business ablaze, allowing them to cash in on the insurance and start anew. Just as Marv is about to reconnect with the arsonist, the man is found dead outside his daughter’s wedding reception, leading to Sid being implicated in the incident.
