Episode Overview
With Bea in the slot, Ferguson escalates her psychological manipulation of Kaz. Taking advantage of Kaz's emotional turmoil following her father's recent death, Ferguson discovers that Kaz had suffered abuse from him. To connect with Kaz, Ferguson shares her own troubled history with her father. Meanwhile, when new Indigenous inmate Tasha comes under Doreen's supervision, Ferguson sees a chance to pressure Kaz into confronting Bea. With Maxine temporarily in charge, Ferguson places Tasha near Lucy, and when Tasha defends herself against Lucy's advances, Maxine feels compelled to punish her. Ferguson pushes Kaz to challenge Maxine in order to protect Tasha, exploiting Kaz's past trauma. Meanwhile, Bea and Ally deepen their friendship as they are placed in adjacent cells, spending hours in conversation.
