Diane unexpectedly goes into labor, and when Billy can’t be located, she hesitantly turns to Kate for support as her birthing coach. Meanwhile, Wilkes is tasked with ensuring a family escapes a violent husband and father. McNeil and Catera decide to take dance lessons, featuring a special appearance by Kenny Ortega, who choreographed "Brain Salad Surgery." Just as Billy arrives at the hospital, he learns that Diane is undergoing an emergency c-section due to complications for both her and the baby during labor.
