Alexandra Estella DeAnna "Alex" Meneses, born on February 12, 1965, in Chicago, is a talented American actress and model of Mexican American and Ukrainian American heritage. During her summer breaks, she honed her acting skills at The Second City Improvisational Theater in Chicago. Following her high school graduation, she signed a modeling contract in Milan, Italy. What was initially meant to be a three-month stay turned into two years as she embraced the vibrant culture and found great success in the modeling scene.

Upon returning to the United States, Meneses moved to Los Angeles to further pursue her acting career, training at the renowned Lee Strasberg Institute. She gained notable recognition for her role as Teresa Morales in the beloved series "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman." Additionally, she appeared in significant recurring roles on popular shows such as "Everybody Loves Raymond," where she played Stefania, Robert's Italian love interest, and "Friends," portraying Cookie, the sister of Joey Tribbiani.
