Gia Franzia, born in Santa Monica and raised in Orange County, California, has made significant strides in the entertainment industry since earning her Theatre Arts degree from Long Beach State University. Shortly after graduation, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she honed her craft at Playhouse West, one of the city's premier acting schools. During her time there, she not only showcased her acting talent in various theatrical productions but also gained valuable experience behind the scenes as a sound operator and lighting technician.

Since 2002, Gia has been a driving force in film production, co-producing and producing a variety of projects, including her debut film, *Peace of Heart*, followed by *Special Dead*, *Rattle Basket*, *Condo Hell*, *The Writer's Ghost*, and *Miss Nobody*. She took on a particularly ambitious role in the contentious film *Baby of Mine*, where she served as producer, star, and co-writer. Additionally, she collaborated with director Tracy Pellegrino and actor Mark Pellegrino on a series of short films filmed across iconic cities such as Cannes, Paris, and Auckland, which will be compiled into a feature titled *Strangers in a Strange Land*.

Gia's impressive filmography includes both lead and supporting roles in several indie films like *Wild Sunflowers*, *Night of the Flesh Eaters*, and *L.A. I Hate You*. More recently, she appeared as a dog walker on Leah Remini's reality show, *It's All Relative*.
