Day of the Dead 2: Contagium (2005)
Plot
In 1968, a covert experiment at Ravenside Military Hospital spirals out of control, unleashing a deadly bacteriological weapon that mutates humans into zombies. A team of soldiers is dispatched to eliminate the infected staff, but Private DeLuca absconds with a sample of the virus, ultimately succumbing to its effects. The flask containing the virus is lost in the grass. Fast forward to the present, a group of patients at Ravenside Memorial Hospital inadvertently discovers the flask. When one of them opens it, the deadly contents spill, leading to a catastrophic outbreak among the patients and their doctor, Dr. Donwynn.
