Marian Seldes
Marian Hall Seldes (August 23, 1928 – October 6, 2014) was a distinguished American actress known for her exceptional contributions to theater. Throughout her illustrious career, she garnered five nominations for the prestigious Tony Award, ultimately winning the award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her remarkable performance in A Delicate Balance in 1967. Her talent was further recognized with nominations for her roles in Father’s Day (1971), Deathtrap (1978–82), Ring Round the Moon (1999), and Dinner at Eight (2002). Additionally, Seldes earned a Drama Desk Award for her work in Father’s Day.
