Lee Hoi-Sang
Lee Hoi-Sang (April 15, 1941 – September 9, 2024) was a celebrated Hong Kong martial arts film actor and practitioner, recognized for his impactful roles in iconic films such as The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (1978) as Abbot Li Hai Sheng, Shaolin Challenges Ninja (1978), and The Prodigal Son (1981). His filmography also includes notable appearances in Project A (1983) and Disciples of the 36th Chamber (1985), where he shared the screen with legendary martial artists like Jackie Chan, Gordon Liu, and Sammo Hung.
Mastering Wing Chun boxing, Lee began his martial arts journey early in life, eventually becoming a revered instructor and actor. His career flourished during the 1970s and 1980s, as he showcased his kung fu skills in martial arts films and took on various supporting roles in Asian television dramas, earning him the nickname "King of Fighters" among fans. As a disciple of the esteemed Yip Man, Lee not only honed his skills but also passed on the traditions of Wing Chun to future generations.
