Valérie Karsenti, born on August 26, 1968, is a celebrated French actress recognized for her diverse work in television, film, theater, and voice acting. She gained significant fame for her portrayal of Liliane in the popular sitcom "Scènes de ménages."

Karsenti's journey in the performing arts began in her teenage years when she started taking acting classes at 15. She later enrolled in the prestigious National School of Arts and Theater (ENSATT). While still a student, she was cast by Jean-Louis Thamin in "L'Étourdi," sharing the stage with notable actors like Roland Blanche and Jean-Pierre Lorit.

After graduating from ENSATT in 1988, Karsenti made her mark with key roles in television films such as "Sniper" and "Édouard et ses filles." The 1990s saw her shift focus to theater, where she starred in acclaimed productions, including "Camus, Sartre et les autres," "Colombe," and "Accalmies passagères," which won the Molière Award for Best Comedy Show in 1997. She continued to earn acclaim with roles in "Un fil à la patte" and "Un petit jeu sans conséquence," collecting multiple Molière Awards.

Karsenti's career flourished further from 2009 onwards when she began her iconic role in "Scènes de ménages." That same year, she took on a leading part in "Maison Close," a Canal+ series directed by Mabrouk El Mechri. Outside of her professional life, she is a devoted mother to two sons, Léon and Chaïm, from her relationship with actor François Feroleto.
