Peter Brown

Peter Brown discovered his passion for acting while serving in the military, where he initiated a theater group on his base in Alaska to fill his leisure hours. After completing his service, he pursued formal training in acting at UCLA. By the mid-1950s, he began landing roles in various western films and television series, earning particular acclaim for his portrayal of the enthusiastic young deputy Johnny McKay in the beloved western series *Lawman* (1958). He further solidified his status in the genre as one of the Texas Rangers in the action-comedy series *Laredo* (1965).

After concluding a fruitful contract with Universal Pictures that lasted from 1965 to 1972, Brown transitioned into soap operas and made-for-TV movies, showcasing his versatility as an actor.
