Rupert Grint
Rupert Alexander Lloyd Grint, born on August 24, 1988, is a notable English actor recognized primarily for his portrayal of Ron Weasley in the acclaimed Harry Potter film franchise. He was just eleven years old when he was cast as Weasley, having prior experience only in school productions and a local theater group. Following his success in the Harry Potter series, Grint expanded his career into film, television, and theater.
In 2002, he ventured beyond the Wizarding World with a significant role in Thunderpants. He showcased his talent in the dramedy Driving Lessons, released in 2006, and the limited-release film Cherrybomb in 2010. Grint also shared the screen with Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt in the comedy Wild Target. His first project after the Harry Potter films was a supporting role in the 2012 anti-war drama Into the White. In 2013, he appeared in the film CBGB and took on a role in CBS's Super Clyde. He made his theatrical debut in Jez Butterworth's Mojo in October 2013 at London's Harold Pinter Theatre. Grint lent his voice to the character Josh in Postman Pat: The Movie in 2014, and from 2017 to 2018, he both executive-produced and starred in the television series Snatch, inspired by the film of the same name. Since 2019, he has been starring in the psychological horror series Servant on Apple TV+.
