Plot

Set against the backdrop of World War II, the story unfolds on April 27, 1940, when Luftwaffe pilot Horst Schopis' Heinkel 111 is downed by an RAF Blackburn Skua near Grotli. As tensions flare, the surviving German and British crew initially engage in a shootout but soon find themselves taking refuge together in a cabin amidst the brutal Norwegian winter. Forced to cooperate for survival, they forge an unexpected bond that transcends their differences, leading to a profound friendship that endures beyond the conflict.
