Daveed Daniele Diggs, born on January 24, 1982, is a multifaceted American performer known for his talents as an actor, rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is prominently recognized as the lead vocalist of the innovative hip hop group clipping., which has garnered critical acclaim for its unique sound. Diggs gained widespread fame in 2015 when he made his Broadway debut in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s groundbreaking musical Hamilton, where he portrayed both Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson.
