Mirtel Pohla

Mirtel Pohla, born on January 28, 1982, in Tartu, Estonia, is a distinguished actress renowned for her work across stage, film, and television. She completed her secondary education at Tartu Karlova Gümnaasium in 2000, subsequently enrolling at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, from which she graduated in 2004.

Her professional journey began at the Estonian Drama Theatre in Tallinn, where she performed from 2004 to 2006. During this time, she earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Elsa Seebalt in the 2005 production of Andrus Kivirähk's "Adolf Rühka lühikene elu." Pohla continued her theatrical career at Theatre NO99 from 2006 to 2014, receiving the Best Supporting Actress award at the Estonian Annual Theatre Awards in 2012 and a nomination in 2013. Though she left Theatre NO99, she has returned as a guest performer and has also graced the stages of the Vanemuine Theatre and various other venues across Estonia.

She gained prominence with her role as Berit in the soap opera "Kodu keset linna" from 2003 to 2004 and again from 2007 to 2009.
