Plot
Jeremia Juunas Kirotaja returns to Estonia after two decades of fighting in Afghanistan, only to find himself at his father's funeral. Having converted to Islam, his sole link to home is the distant memory of his daughter Angel's cries from a phone call long ago. As he searches for his family, he discovers a desolate town where women have taken charge in the absence of men. Despite their bleak reality, the women cling to the hope that Jeremia can help lift the oppressive emptiness that has settled over their lives.
