Kaie Mihkelson

Kaie Mihkelson, born on October 12, 1948, in Pärnu, Estonia, is a prominent actress known for her contributions to both film and theater. She began her academic journey at the Tallinn Polytechnical Institute of Economics, graduating in 1969, and further honed her craft at the Tallinn State Conservatory (now recognized as the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre), from which she graduated in 1974.

Mihkelson's professional career commenced at the Endla Theatre in her hometown of Pärnu, where she performed from 1974 to 1977. She then moved to the Youth Theater in Tallinn, where she showcased her talents until 1988. Since then, she has been a key member of the Estonian Drama Theatre in Tallinn, contributing significantly to the artistic landscape of Estonian theater. In addition to her performances, Mihkelson has shared her expertise as a lecturer at her alma mater, nurturing the next generation of actors.
