Elisabeth Depardieu
Élisabeth Depardieu, born Élisabeth Dominique Lucie Guignot on August 5, 1941, is a prominent French actress, writer, and co-producer. She is also known as the former spouse of renowned actor Gérard Depardieu and the mother of accomplished actors Guillaume and Julie Depardieu.
Hailing from an affluent Parisian family, Élisabeth married Gérard Depardieu on February 19, 1970. Together, they welcomed two children, both of whom followed in their parents' footsteps into the acting world. The couple's marriage lasted until their divorce in 1996.
Élisabeth has contributed to both television and film, often credited as Elisabeth Guy. Notably, she appeared alongside Gérard in productions such as "Le Tartuffe" (1984) and the iconic film "Jean de Florette" (1986), where they portrayed a married couple.
