However, she soon withdrew from the program, feeling disheartened by the limited opportunities for experimental work. In 2005, she shifted her focus to acting, honing her craft under the guidance of the esteemed performance coach Hamid Samandarian and participating in film and television acting classes led by Mehdi Fakhimzade.

Salehniya made her on-screen debut in 2006 in Fakhimzade's television series "Scream Noiselessly," also known as "Bi Seda Faryad Kon." Since then, she has built an impressive portfolio that includes a variety of feature films, TV series, and theatrical performances. One of the highlights of her career was her collaboration with celebrated Iranian director Majid Majidi in the epic film "Mohammad: The Messenger of God," released in 2015.
