Elisa Tovati, originally named Elisa Touati, is a multifaceted French artist renowned for her work as a singer, actress, and television personality. Born in Paris in 1976 to parents of Russo-Moroccan Jewish descent, Elisa developed a passion for the performing arts at a young age. During her teenage years, she gained early exposure to television by co-hosting the show *Y'a pas d'lézard* alongside Stéphane Tapie.
Tovati's acting career flourished with appearances in various television films, including notable roles in *Navarro*, *Highlander*, and *Extrême Limite*. Her breakthrough in film came with her performance in Roger Hanin's *Soleil* and the pivotal *La Vérité si je mens ! 2* (2001), where she portrayed the girlfriend of José Garcia. In 2007, she further showcased her talent in *99 Francs*, sharing the screen with Jean Dujardin and Vahina Giocante.
