Frank C. Turner, a renowned actor and skilled iconographer, hails from Wainwright, Alberta, and currently resides in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. He honed his craft at the University of Alberta, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1975. In the early years of his career, he performed in various theaters across western Canada and Ontario. In 1983, Turner relocated to Vancouver, where he transitioned primarily to film. His filmography boasts notable works such as the beloved "Air Bud" series (1997-2002), including titles like "Air Bud: Golden Receiver" and "Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch," as well as roles in "Cats & Dogs" (2001), "Snow Dogs" (2002), and "The New Addams Family: Addams Family Feud" (1999).

Beyond his acting career, Turner has made significant contributions to the field of iconography. In 1991, he began studying this ancient art form under Vladislav Andreyev, eventually creating approximately 50 Byzantine-style icons for individuals and churches in the Vancouver area. He has frequently participated in the Mount Angel Iconography Institute, learning from esteemed instructors like Charles Rohrbacher and Mary Katsilometes. In 2007, he furthered his studies with Father Gianluca Busi in Bologna.

As a co-founder of the Epiphany Sacred Arts Guild, Turner served as president for four years and was actively involved in shaping the curriculum advisory board for Living Waters College, which is set to launch in Derwent, Alberta. In addition, he offers private iconography lessons, sharing his expertise with aspiring artists.
