Lillian Harmer (September 8, 1883 – May 14, 1946) was an American character actress known for her extensive work in the film industry during the 1930s. Hailing from Philadelphia, Harmer's career saw her appear in over 60 films, although many of these roles were uncredited. She occasionally earned featured parts, most notably portraying the historical figure Carrie Nation in the 1933 film *The Bowery* and appearing in the mystery film *A Shriek in the Night* the same year.

Among her other significant film credits are *Huckleberry Finn* (1931), where she shared the screen with Jackie Coogan, and the 1933 adaptation of *Alice in Wonderland*. Harmer also contributed to William Wellman’s acclaimed 1937 remake of *A Star is Born*, which starred Janet Gaynor and Fredric March, as well as the classic adventure film *The Prisoner of Zenda* alongside Ronald Colman. She further showcased her talent in the historical drama *The Buccaneer* (1938), directed by Cecil B. DeMille.

Lillian Harmer's final film appearance came in 1938 with a minor role in *Gateway*, featuring Don Ameche. She was married to Albert Frederick Kaeber and passed away on May 14, 1946. Her final resting place is at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California, marking the end of a brief yet impactful career in early American cinema.
