François Chau
François Chau, born on October 26, 1959, stands at 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 m) and is a distinguished Cambodian-American actor celebrated for his diverse roles in film and television. He gained notable recognition for his portrayal of Dr. Pierre Chang in the acclaimed ABC series "Lost." More recently, he appeared as Dr. Chang in the comedy film "21 & Over."
Chau's journey began in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where he was born to a family of Chinese and Vietnamese heritage. At the tender age of six, his family relocated to Saigon, now known as Ho Chi Minh City. The turmoil of the Vietnam War prompted another move when Chau was seven, this time to France, followed by a subsequent relocation to Washington, D.C., where he completed his education.
After earning his college degree, Chau pursued his passion for acting and moved to Los Angeles, where he has since established a successful career in the entertainment industry.
