Mark Provencher
Mark Provencher, hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, experienced a nomadic upbringing across the Midwest, with significant periods spent in Michigan and Minnesota, where he attended the University of Minnesota. He later settled in Chicago, Illinois, where his journey in the entertainment industry took off. Mark’s career began unexpectedly as an audience warm-up performer for "The Oprah Winfrey Show," a role he cherishes to this day. During this time, he honed his skills in improvisation at The Second City, a renowned training ground for comedians and actors.
Eager to further his craft, Mark moved to Los Angeles, where he continued his education at the prestigious Beverly Hills Playhouse. He showcased his talent in one-act plays with The Katselas Theatre Company, paving the way for a diverse array of on-screen roles. His notable performances include a memorable appearance as a bong-toting party-goer in the cult classic "Superbad," as well as starring alongside Adrianna Lima and Mötley Crüe in Kia's 2012 Super Bowl commercials. Mark has also featured in popular TV shows such as "Love Bites," "The Mentalist," and "CSI."
In addition to acting, Mark wrote and starred in the short film "The Ricochet," which earned recognition at the Los Angeles Shorts Film Festival and The Other Venice Film Festival. He is married to entertainment lawyer Jennifer Provencher and resides in Venice, California.
