Plot

Annie, a dedicated flight attendant passionate about her job and globe-trotting, faces a tough time when an airline merger leads to her furlough. This challenge is made worse by the end of her relationship with a self-centered boyfriend. Seeking a break, she makes the journey from Manhattan to her grandmother’s farm in Kentucky. After a few transformative days there, Annie finds surprising gifts in her life, including a rekindling of her faith and a reconnection with Jake, her charming childhood friend who has recently returned from the city to pursue a more meaningful existence.
