Denis Theriault
Denis Theriault hails from New Brunswick, Canada, where his passion for the entertainment industry sparked at a young age. By the time he was 14, he secured his first significant television role as Jeb in the popular science fiction series Starhunter, airing on The Space Channel.
Throughout his career, Denis has made a name for himself across various film and television projects. He gained considerable recognition for his performance in the film All the Wrong Reasons, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2013 and featured the late Cory Monteith. This role earned him a nomination for an ACTRA Maritimes Award for Outstanding Male Performance. His filmography also includes notable appearances in Growing Op, the CityTV/CW series Seed, Showcase's G-Spot, and HBO's Call Me Fitz. Most recently, he portrayed Todd, the main antagonist in Across the Line, the directorial debut of acclaimed music video director Director X, which again led to an ACTRA Maritimes Award nomination for Outstanding Male Actor in a Supporting Role.
Denis's creative journey has expanded beyond acting; in 2013, he wrote and directed his first short film, Sibling Rivalry. His follow-up short, I am Syd Stone, released in 2014, received accolades at over 30 international film festivals, including a nomination for the Iris Prize and the ACTRA Award for Best Male Performance, while winning Best Canadian Short Film at the Silver Wave Film Festival. Currently, Denis is developing his debut feature film, titled "Chasers."
