Pauline Moore (June 17, 1914 – December 7, 2001) was a prominent American actress renowned for her performances in Westerns and B movies throughout the 1930s and 1940s.

Born Pauline Joless Love in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, she faced adversity early on when her father passed away during World War I. Her mother remarried in 1925, leading Moore to adopt her stepfather's surname. She ventured to Hollywood in the early 1930s, where she also showcased her talents on Broadway and as a model.

Between the late 1930s and early 1940s, Moore starred in 24 films produced by 20th Century Fox, which she was contracted with. Her career continued at Republic Pictures, where she featured in four Roy Rogers westerns and the 1940 film "King of the Texas Rangers," which included football legend Sammy Baugh. Moore appeared in three Charlie Chan mysteries alongside notable actors like Cesar Romero and Allan Lane, and she shared the screen with Shirley Temple in the 1937 classic "Heidi" and with Henry Fonda in "Young Mr. Lincoln" (1939).

In 1934, she married cartoonist Jefferson Machamer, remaining together until his death in 1960. While she stepped back from acting in the early 1940s to raise her three children, she occasionally returned to the screen until the late 1950s. Moore's final role came in 1958, and she made a few television appearances, including a part in "Spoilers of the Forest" (1957). After marrying Rev. Dodd Watkins in 1962 and becoming widowed again in 1972, she ultimately succumbed to Lou Gehrig's disease in 2001 at a nursing home in Sequim, Washington.
