16 titles Acting Mar 13, 1954 Rome, Lazio, Italy

Ottaviano Dell'Acqua, born into a lineage of actors and stunt performers, launched his acting career at a young age in Italian Spaghetti Westerns. His youthful charm and willingness to embrace danger quickly made him a sought-after talent during the 1970s, often sharing the screen with his brothers Roberto, Alberto, and Arnoldo. As the 1980s approached, Dell'Acqua shifted his focus towards stunt coordination, establishing a diverse career across major Hollywood blockbusters and independent European films.

Horror aficionados may recognize him as the iconic figure behind the worm-eyed zombie featured on the promotional material for Lucio Fulci’s cult classic, ZOMBIE (also known as ZOMBI 2). However, his most notable mainstream role came in Martin Scorsese's GANGS OF NEW YORK, where he portrayed one of Bill the Butcher's prominent henchmen.

In addition to his extensive work as a stunt performer, Dell'Acqua took on leading roles under the pseudonym "Richard Raymond," particularly notable in Bruno Mattei's 1983 film RATS: THE NIGHTS OF TERROR, where he received top billing. Interestingly, that same year saw him appear in several other post-apocalyptic films, such as RAGE and AFTER THE FALL OF NEW YORK, where he was uncredited. Throughout his career, Ottaviano Dell'Acqua has made a significant mark in the film industry, showcasing his versatility and enduring appeal.
