Antonella Lualdi, originally named Antonietta de Pascale, was born on July 6, 1931, and is a renowned Italian actress and singer. She gained recognition through numerous films produced in Italy and France during the 1950s and 1960s. One of her notable performances was in the 1954 film "The Red and the Black," directed by Claude Autant-Lara, where she starred alongside Gérard Philipe.

Her journey in the entertainment industry began in 1949 when she won a talent contest held by the cinema magazine Hollywood. As a result, she was introduced to the public as "Signorina X" ("Miss X"), encouraging readers to select her professional name.

In 1955, Antonella married fellow Italian actor Franco Interlenghi, with whom she appeared in several films. The couple welcomed two daughters, Stella and Antonellina, the latter of whom also pursued a career in acting.
