Stef Dawson is a talented Australian actress renowned for her portrayal of Annie Cresta in the highly acclaimed films The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 and Part 2. She also had a brief but memorable appearance in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Born in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Dawson’s early education included attendance at Canberra Girls' Grammar School and Radford College, followed by specialized training at Screenwise Film & TV School. She further honed her craft by studying theatre and opera at the University of Wollongong.

From 2007 to 2009, Dawson showcased her acting skills in various productions at Short and Sweet in Sydney. Her film career began with a lead role in the short film Chocolates, followed by the titular character in Ophelia. She also appeared as Sarah Rael in The Consulate and made her television debut as Tully McIntyre in the long-running series All Saints, in the episode "The Blink of an Eye." Additional television credits include guest roles in Out of Blue and a recurring role as Kylie Brown in Swift and Shift Couriers.

Dawson's first leading role in an Australian feature film came with her performance as Leah Thompson in Wrath, followed by her role as Pearlwing in Foxfur.
