Plot

"Painted Woman" weaves the harrowing tale of Julie Richards, a woman entangled in a cycle of abuse and exploitation. After being taken in by the affluent Kyle Allison in Goldfield, Julie becomes his trophy, enjoying a facade of security while enduring further mistreatment. As her perilous situation with Allison reaches a breaking point, she finds herself at a crossroads with two potential saviors, each representing a different path. The narrative unfolds in two contrasting chapters: one captures her nighttime encounters with Frank in town, while the other follows her daytime struggles with the Mustanger in the wilderness.
