Paudge Behan

Paudge Rodger Behan is an accomplished Irish actor and writer, born into a notable family with strong ties to Irish history; he is the son of Cathal Goulding, a former Chief of Staff for the IRA, and Beatrice Behan, who was married to renowned playwright Brendan Behan. Initially pursuing a career in journalism, Paudge wrote for a Dublin newspaper before shifting his focus to acting.

He began his acting journey in the 1990s, taking on various minor roles in both film and television. His talents caught the attention of celebrated English author Barbara Taylor Bradford, who selected him for the leading male role in the 1999 adaptation of her novel, *A Secret Affair*, originally published in 1996.
