Shin Min-a

Shin Min-ah, born Yang Min-ah on April 5, 1984, is a prominent South Korean actress and model. Raised in a family that includes her father, mother, an older sister, and an older brother, Shin's journey into the limelight began in middle school. A pivotal moment occurred when she submitted a photo taken during a school picnic to the teen magazine KiKi, leading to her selection as a model for the publication. This early exposure opened doors into the entertainment industry, where she initially appeared in commercials and music videos.

In 2001, Shin made her acting debut in the film "Volcano High," followed by a role in "Madeleine" two years later. Her breakthrough came in 2005 with the critically acclaimed gangster film "A Bittersweet Life," where her portrayal of Hee-soo, a character that combined innocence and maturity, captured the hearts of South Korean audiences. Since then, she has taken on a diverse array of roles, showcasing her versatility in projects ranging from the martial-arts comedy "My Mighty Princess" to the nostalgic film "Go Go 70s" and the indie feature "Sisters on the Road."

In 2009, Shin Min-ah collaborated on the project "Miracle Blue," which featured her alongside the alternative band Loveholic and fashion brand Calvin Klein. In the accompanying music video, she showcased her talent by portraying various characters, oscillating between child-like innocence and a glamorous, sultry persona.
