Plot
In "A Bittersweet Life," Kim Sun-woo serves as an enforcer and the manager of a hotel run by the ruthless crime lord, Kang. While Kang is on a business trip, he tasks Sun-woo with a straightforward mission: to keep an eye on his young mistress, Hee-soo, suspecting she might be unfaithful with a younger lover. However, Kang imposes a chilling condition—if Sun-woo uncovers any infidelity, he must eliminate both Hee-soo and her supposed paramour. As Sun-woo navigates this morally complex assignment, his loyalty and conscience are put to the ultimate test.
