Ry Barrett
Ry Barrett embarked on his acting journey with a standout performance as the lead in the 2004 horror-comedy film 'Desperate Souls', released by Alliance/Lions Gate. He quickly established himself in the genre with subsequent projects, including 'Psycho Ward' and festival favorites 'Dead Genesis' and 'If A Tree Falls'. Barrett garnered critical acclaim for his portrayal in the psychological thriller 'Neverlost', produced by Anchor Bay CAN and GEG U.S., earning him a Best Actor award at the 2011 Toronto International Film and Video Awards (TIFVA). His dedication to his craft was evident when he lost 50 pounds to authentically embody his character in 'Neverlost'.

Beyond acting, Barrett is a passionate storyteller, having transitioned into screenwriting and producing. In collaboration with director Gabriel Carrer, he created the indie horror film 'If A Tree Falls', which premiered at the Fantasia International Film Festival in 2010 and showcased his ability to blend contemporary themes with classic exploitation styles. Additionally, Barrett has written, directed, and produced numerous music videos and films, solidifying his footprint in the film industry.
